Where did you find this pic? Anymore pics? This is the first 2014 1LE shown with the RS package and the front splitter.

same here. I never understand or understood why someone would take V6 Camaro and plunk down boo-koo bucks to try to make the car go fast.

heck, what's the diference in price between a V6 and an SS model? $3K to $5K or so? you'll easily spend that on modding the V6 model but in the end, it's still a V6 model. that of course means resale value will still be crap.

just spend the extra $$$ on an SS and work with a solid platform from there up.

I'm sure you could do the bumper swap if you love the look of the 2014's that much. It's gonna cost you a bit of cash, but you could probably recoup some on selling the 2013 front parts. It would be an entire fascia swap, hood, and possibly supports. However, if you want a V8 in the future I'd wait for mid to end of the 2014 model year and then trade. You should take a tad less beating on trade in for your current car, not by much though, and it gives you time to save some extra for a down payment.

so there's two reasons why people by the v6 over the v8.. 1st reason is the fact that you can make the v6 NA but still pretty quick with intake, headers, downpipe, catback and still have better mpg and 2nd is because you can make the v6 look like the ZL1 or The hot wheels version or even the Z600 and spend no where near the price and still be satisfied with the HP.. keep in mind i said LOOK like it. lol

There will be 1 person on this forum that wants to be the first to do it. Only a matter of time. First you'll see a post that is dedicated to part numbers to make the conversion. Lol

The v6 is rated at 22mpg and the v8 is rated 19...Always surprises me when people say they opted for the v6 for MPG. Especially someone like you who has the means to take a loss on a trade in like this. I'd say either keep your car as is or move up to a v8 and add 2014 front facia later.

I just hate Franken-Camaros. Rock what you got!

Be proud of it even if it's a base LS... they're all still nice cars, and put 90% of what you'll find on the road to shame.

Going from a v6 to a v8 would be a better choice if you're going to lay out more money.

the bigger difference is if you do a lot of highway driving.

24mpg vs 30mpg

either way, i wouldnt trade a v6 for a v6

Might be from the Detroit Grand Prix from today. I think it says Grand-Am.
