Hey, well at least your modest. That girls definitely a keeper, girls don't do that stuff just because. She's interested in you and wants to show you that she pays attention to your needs. In this instance, you needed gas (she didn't have to) and using the right gas which she either paid attention or was smart enough to figure it out.

You loose more than horse power.....You can seriously damage valuable engine components. Our motors really react strangely too. In fact..... go ahead and put it in your car for awhile and give us your assessment in a few months. I 'm curious how long you can run without issues." lifter noises,etc........"

Wow you're lucky...we don't even have 93 octane over here only 91 for premium gas. A full tank of gas? You might want to hang onto that one sir.

Not a keeper. She can't even follow simple directions. You asked her to drive around and wait for you. Instead she left and went somewhere. What really happened is she did donuts down the street, showed the car to her friends who climbed all over it while taking selfies, boned her real boyfriend in the back seat, and then filled it with el-cheapo 87 octane, and came back with that nonsense story she told you.

I filled my tank twice with 87 Just to see what the response would be like and believe me there's a definite problem and it doesn't take months to see. No 87 or 89. Premium is recommended for a reason...

No one said there is not a difference, my point is IT'S NOT THE FREAKING END OF THE WORLD, nor will there be any damage to your car! Of the hundreds of thousands of posts on C5, please find my 1 instance of where using 87 octane in an SS caused permenate damage.
