I live in KY and we have a few shops here that do cam installs. Is there anything special or specific I should ask them to make sure they can install a VVT cam? I already know they will not handle the tuning but want to make sure that the install is good to go. In other words, is there any special qualifications needed for a VVT cam over a traditional cam?

Grocerygetter posted a vid of our ss3 vvt somewhere and I'll find the video of our ss2 a customer just installed.
So this is the SS3? Nice.

Are there any videos of SS1 and SS2?

I prefer no VVT and getting rid of the lifters. Just from the lifter failures I've seen.

Best is to talk to the shop doing the work and get there input.
