Actually the C7 has a bow tie incorporated in its flag emblems.

You have Camaro on the Steering wheel

You have Camaro on the door sills (x2)

You have a Camaro heritage emblem on the fender (x2)

And bow ties on the grille and decklid.

Seems Camaro and Camaro heritage emblems out number bow ties 5 to 2.
Don't the headlights each say Camaro in them?

This is why people fear being on the camaro design team. The nit picky ridiculousness of enthusiasts.

Just sayin

but yes, complaining about the badging...seriously? Are they supposed to build an awesome car and not mark it? Besides...de-badging is easy.
Just like poking. Even GM likes to use the term because it resonates.

But if you go back, wouldn't you agree that a muscle car was a plebian mid size coupe or sedan that someone decided to drop a big V8 under the hood?

And that a Camaro was designed in it's lowest and most base form to be a great handling performance car that performed even better with more HP under the hood?

I am going by the classical definitions, not GM trying play a marketing hook.

Granted Camaro is the closes we have to a true muscle car so we cling to it. It's just not by the old standard.

Fun discussion though.

Don't forget the Bowtie on the engine cover. The new Camaro logo on the hoodliner. SS on each seats. Not sure if there is anything on the trunklid liner.

On the SS it says Camaro on each side of the cover.

Looked at some pics. Nothing in the trunk. But did see that the manual shifter on the SS models has the SS on it.

Yes, they do. There is also an SS badge on the steering wheel, and a Camaro emblem in the 'M' of 'CAMARO' in the doorsill.

I think this is what the tally is up to so far:
SS : 5 (front, rear, steering wheel, headrests)

Chevy Bowtie: 6 (front, rear, 4x wheel centres, +1 if you want to include the engine cover)

Camaro (word): 5 (headlights, door sills, +2 more if you want to include the ones above the fender shield)

Camaro (sheild): 4 (2x fenders, 2x door sills)

You are still missing some of the Camaros, please review previous posts. On the SS there are at least 9 places where it says Camaro.
