Sunroof vs reverse Mohawk

I really liked the sunroof on my 5th gen but I also like the look of the reverse Mohawk roof without it! I wonder if the 6th gen sunroof will be the same way and remove the reverse Mohawk aero on the roof. It would be great if GM could design a sunroof that somehow maintained the aero contours of the roof! I'm also wondering if a sunroof is planned as an option on the 6th gen because so far there has been no mention of it from Chevy. Your thoughts?

you could get a thin but long sunroof that fits in the "mowhawk".

but...probably not.

The only thing I dislike on mine is the sunroof...but that's only because of the headroom decrease.

Yes, it will be available and I had the discussion with GM about seeing a decreased number of cars with sunroof just because of how good this looks.

Their reply to me was "That's what the convertible is for"

All I can say is... no sunroof = no sale. I love my sunroof and have been concerned about how the 2016 will squeeze a sunroof in with that "Mohawk". Dumb design change, if you ask me. with the overall height of the 6thGen being reduced, I'm kind of curious if the sunroof will be acceptable for us 6' (+) guys (if they do offer one).

I use the sunroof for about 5 minutes a year, to me they are useless and will not get in the 6Gen.

Different opinions I guess. Surprised to hear people feel this way in a pony/muscle car.

I wouldn't take a sunroof if they gave me a $1000 discount. I see Gen5's with them and cringe.

Also feel the reverse mohawk is killer.

I always liked a little open air over my head on a sunny summer day! I enjoyed the sunroof on my 5th gen but I don't think I would want that cool reverse Mohawk eliminated on a 6th gen. I would love a vert but they add a lot of cost and weight, so I don't know what I'll do at this point. I guess I'll wait and see what the sunroof looks like when they reveal it as an option!

Glass roof panel? Then I might stop wishing for t-tops or targa panel.
