For the last couple of weeks evey morning when I get up or almost imediately after I get home there is a robin roosting on my car, I scare him away and by the time I get back in my house he's there again. I tried putting the car in my garage for almost a week thinking he will go away, but now he is back. Always on the pass. side and s#@&ts all over it. Now I'm pissed off.

. A friend gave me a fake owl thinking it might scare him off, wrong, WTF would you do?

Maybe it has something to do with your mirror. Try covering it up with something.

Good point...birds see their reflections and are too stupid to know it's not another bird....(I have birds...they are funny, but stupid)

The Qwl needs to be suspended from a rope or wire so that it moves with the breeze and "looks" like it is flying. Otherwise, the robin thinks that it is just another inanimate object.

Had the same problem with a Cardial on my truck. Had to cover the mirrors for weeks till they moved away or left for the season.

You might also try a rubber snake on the roof or hood. Sometimes that works better than owls.

Now that I'm done laughing at the bird (not the scratches on your car), I'd say cover the mirrors. If you can, park the car in the garage.

I vote for the BB gun(oh boy here come the animal rights activists) and get it when it isn't near the car...hopefull another doesn't take up his roost.
Apparently...birds can be quite stubborn..I have stayed in the same cabin every year on vacation for the last 3 years...and there is a bird that pecks the same bedroom window EVERY morning a little after sunrise...every damn day each time I have stayed there for the last 3 years..common sense wants me to say it isn't the same bird...but it damn sure looks like the same bird...EVERY day...really...crazy.

It might not be your mirror, that is if the windows are tinted. That looks like what he is looking at. At least he has good taste.
