My Link with Onstar
I brought the car out this weekend for short trip(wasn't snowing when I left lol), I really enjoyed the My Link paired with Onstar for GPS purposes. I really like that the directions update via the HUD.

I'm guessing you didn't get the navigation option, if you did you would not be using onstar. Onstar is ok, but the navigation option is much better.

Onstar is a nice bonus. It's not the best but for what it is it works pretty well. I wish I had Mylink in my 2010. Especially Nav. That's one of the few things I gave up from my old car when I got the Camaro that I wish I could have kept.

I didn't know there was a nav option with My Link on the camaro. I admit I didn't do a lot of research before I got the car , I saw it online and had it a week later. The color combo and motor got me.

No, it's 2 different things. Onstar is more of a turn by turn, where navigation is an on screen map. Although Onstar has the ability to send to your navigation if you request. Here is a pic of the navigation.

Navigation is not part of xm, but movies, fuel and weather is (at a separate charge of course).

You cannot upgrade to navigation if you did not buy the option when you purchased the car, at this point you are SOL. And no, there is no fee for the navigation.

Not at this point, no as it's more involved then just a radio swap. I know Ofer is working on a mod but that is for a new install and will be a couple of grand.
