OR...you could hide your weed in there?

That's a NHTS requirement. It's the location of the child seat anchors.

No need. Just press the remote once and it locks silently.

Jaguar XKR/XK8 does it too.

Or just push the driver door lock before closing the door. I seldom lock any of my cars with the remote.

I got into this habit years ago when it was discovered that during the busy holidays, people would sit in large shopping center lots and use a scanner to scan the frequency when you lock your car with the remote. Then they could unlock your car while you are shopping.

I cannot lock mine with the drivers side door lock. It immediately unlocks. I am fine with that, haven't locked my keys in the car yet. Fob or passenger side lock works.

If you rev your engine to the red line and beyond and hold for several minutes your engine will fail.

Brights

If you pull the left steering wheel armature (with the menu/clr etc on it) toward you it will "flash" your brights.....good for sending a "moooove over" message to driving-school-dropouts and or foreigners in the fast lane.

But, if you push the armature away from you the brights will stay on for country driving etc...This, however, does contribute to bugs being stuck to the front even on non-yellow cars.

If a key is in the ignition your remote doesn't work.

Brilliant thinking from someone who never drives a car.

That's only for the pushrod LS3 guys. The cammer V6's can rev to the moon and beyond with no trouble at all.
