I had NO idea this was possible:

Yes, yes, I know they're illegal to have them driving around like that. But what if someone just wired up a switch that reversed the polarity for offroad use?

EDIT: This is NOT my video. It probably raises more questions than it does answers. Can anyone here actually confirm this with maybe a spare headlight/halo lying around?

That is awesome. Maybe that is how GM got the black edition to have red halos

Hmm problem is that doing so makes them permanently red, which is not street legal. This could have potential though.

With a switch im sure you could go back and forth between red and white.. i hope this is for real.

No, I'm not questioning that using a switch would work. Just that you would need to set up some sort of relay that was able to flip the wires back and forth.

I am skeptical.

My Camry aftermarket Halos are done via LED, and you can hook them up either way, you get the same color light.
