Really want a Canyon or Sierra but I'd consider a 6th gen.

I'm really interested but I want to see what it looks like first.

I'm very interested in a 6th gen down the road for sure especially with GM upping their game with performance and vehicle dynamics on each new generation of performance cars they've released recently. I see the next gen being better in every way but the only unknown is the styling, but I have faith that it will be another hit.

This past January I ordered a 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51. However, due to dealer shenanigans, my order was given to someone else. I've moved to plan "B", which is to replace my wife's 2007 G6 GTP with a new Audi A5 Cabriolet. Then, it will be paid off in time for me to order a 50th anniversary Camaro SS. I'll also keep my GTO. I would say a near certainty but I have owned 2 5th gens now, so it will have to a near perfect combination of design and content. A 2017 1LE would be a nice replacement.

If they come out with a great 50th Anniversary package in 2017, I may have to jump at it - provided I like the 6th Gen changes.

(Aside from a suspended torque converter issue) I'm very happy with my 5th Gen (2012). But...
it is a 2LS, so a V6/Auto, which is exactly what I wanted in my daily driver car. Of course, I miss a V8/Manual combo, so I'm thinking at some point I'll be picking up a 2nd Camaro (in the next 5 years or so). The question at that point, determined by a lot of factors, will be if I sought out a new-ish (under warranty) Gen6, or if I look for a more affordable (higher mileage) ZL1. Either way, I don't intend on trading in my 2012, as I love so many specifics about how it looks (from the halogen headlights to the 4 tail lights). |

I'm loving my 5 Gen V6 Camaro, but depending on how well it does in the snow I may consider going to a SS model when these come out.

I'm miserable. As a life long Camaro driver (I'm 47), I sat out the 5th gen because IMO it was too big in size and too heavy. It just didn't do it for me. Moving the Camaro to Alpha SHOULD have solved my only two complaints. Alpha is a bad ass platform, done right. Yank out the DOD lifters and the new LT1 is a pretty sweet V8. The new 7 speed stick with rev matching is awesome. NOW......GM, don't do your typical stupid move of coming out with the V6 car first. Then, 6 months later coming with the V8. Then 6 months later the convertible. Then a year later the 1LE type car, etc. I want the giant tire road race ready 1LE V8 7 speed manual as soon as possible. Finally......I hope they don't screw the pooch and give us looks like Ford did with the new Mustang. Holy mother is the new Mustang a design disaster or what. Its been a long wait, and I'm ready to have my next Camaro in my garage.

A Gen6 SS is a real possibility for my next daily driver. I'm keeping 13 ZL1

I'm not a rich man and I have put a few dollars in the Camaro I am in now, too expensive to jump to a new Camaro so soon, will wait at least three years before I start considering but might be longer. if I don't like the new design I will be happy to keep my current Camaro for a long while. only putting around 2500 miles on it a year so she is staying pretty pristine.

Had a 2010 1SS, traded it in for a '13 Camaro 2LT/RS and wish I still had the SS but I do like the 2LT .... will be looking at the SS when the 6th Gen arrives ....
