Do you think this is not right/posing?
I absolutely love how the ZL1 looks, there are no body kits I like compared to the ZL1's. I love the hood, I love the front bumper, and side rockers, the rims. I have a 2012 SS but a ZL1 was way out of my price range. I don't want to pretend I have a ZL1 and I would never put ZL1 badges on it, If i got the ZL1 hood I would put SS badges on both sides.... quesiton is Do you think it is posing if I got the ZL1 body parts and put it on my SS? I don't think it is as bad as putting those parts on a V6 Camaro, SS actually has LOTS of power and the ZL1 look would fit it I believe... Also are there aftermarket rims similar to the ZL1's? I see that they are very expensive. Thank you!

do what makes you happy and I wouldn't and don't care what other people think. If you like it then that's all that matters

Uh...Your fine. It's when some idiot takes a 2011 Mustang and turns it into a Camaro where the issues come up. (google search it...it's real.)

Nah nah. That's fine. It's only posing after you claim it is something it's not by badging it incorrectly and telling people a lie.

I agree it's your car and do what you want and all of that, but it is kind of weak. You will learn this when some dude walks up to your car and says.... "oh man a ZL1 I never seen one of those!!" and you get to say... uh, no dude I just decided to rip off the look of it.
Your car, do what makes you happy. But prepare for people to roll their eyes at you. Last edited by Vaux96; 04-26-2012 at 08:50 PM. |

Do what you want. It's your car. Anyone doesn't like it tell them to go pound sand.

Do what pleases you. I personally love the ZL1 look, but would never pay that much to change everything about my car into it. I'd rather get an aftermarket hood/body kit/ spoiler and create my own look.
It seems too many people get caught up on here trying to please the C5 masses and lose track of their own opinion. |

Appearance mods aren't posing when badging isn't used. Else people would whine when LS owners put SS rims on, yellow owners create transformer editions, or non-RS owners install HID's or stock spoilers. Do what you want. Stick a ZL1 badge on and then it becomes "game on"
