There is only one vendor and one product that proved to cure the dead spot .

The mace is on it's way, can I use factory gaskets on both sides of the insulator rather than a gasket compound?

fo sho! i believe bmorecam (jay) also did it this way. i'd hit him up to see if he has any tips and tricks for getting it all together. one of the obstacles you'll run into with that many moving pieces, is getting the back bolt in and keeping everything aligned. but it is possible. good luck

As hapi said...I used factory gasket on both sides. Much easier to deal with since you don't have to deal with the gooey rtv gasket maker that can get messy. You have to break off a few of the tabs for the bottom side(cylinder head). You will see what I mean once you get to it.

Sounds great! I luv simple bolt on mods that add toque and HP

How will this work in conjunction with a Spiral Ported TB?
...by 'work' I mean 'enhance' the benefit of the SPTB.

Is there a link to the installation instructions?
I'd like to see what's involved before ordering.

where can one find an extra oem gasket? i would rather buy another gasket than deal with the messy stuff.

The install was a breeze, all of the 6 holes line up perfectly, but most importantly, low to mid rpm torque and the improved throttle response is an animal! It literally make you change the way you driven because of the torque. The throttle feel very touchy and the car just want to zoom forward. When other guys was giving their opinion I really didn't believe most of it, but I am a believer now

Great job mace

Please show us a video.

How easy is this to reverse if using the gasket maker? I don't mind working with the messy stuff, but was wondering how hard it would be to remove it if I ever want to in the future.

Unfortunently it is not available for your 2012 model :(. Keep an eye out as there may be one for the LFX engine in the future.
