I bought them in gloss, but didn't put them on because they don't quite match the black paint on my car. Now if you don't have a black car then it should be ok, its just a slight difference imo.

Which ever way you go it will look a lot meaner than chrome.

I went the plasti dip route and used their glossifier to give it the gloss effect. It's not as shiny and "black" as real paint would be but it does the job for way less 👍

Out can be a pain, in very easy. But if you are going to replace the factory ones and worry about breaking the tabs then out might not be that bad.

Lightly sanded, Used adhesion promoter and flat black for $14 total and still looks great a year later. Just takes a little time. Just took a few mins to be able to remove them all with a screwdriver. There's probably a better and safer way to do this but saw a couple people on YouTube use screwdrivers and worked great...no broken tabs or scratches.

I left mine in Chrome because of the Camaro side lettering and the chrome part of the bow-tie. But I am considering going gloss black to match my spoiler since I'll be removing the Camaro lettering soon.
