And it’s legal ............... when is North America going to make stretches of our highway like that. I am jealous, most cars today can handle higher speeds. We are so far behind the times.

It's very questionable if the unlimited Autobahn can survive any more. A lot of politicians sadly want to limit the whole Autobahn, even though they are pretty safe here compared to our european neighbors that have a speed limit.

But in fact nearly half of the Autobahn is already limited. And when you have an unlimited area, be prepared for a lot of idiots in Renault Twingos or small cars like that who don't give a s*** about looking into the mirror before entering the left lane with 100km/h

Because you'll have morons in Prius's hanging in the left lane. Fkng up the fun for everyone else. I can't tell you how many times............here in Texas. It's State Law. Left lane is for passing. Meaning, move your fkn slow ass out of the way. You are supposed to get ticketed hanging in the left lane.

Now, to me. Passing means......I'm faster than you, so moooooooooooooove out of the way.

If they could atleast make some segments of Interstate or Highways or even barrier separated lanes on certain highways to be without speed limits for proffesional drivers who possess a qualifying advanced training and a license permitting it, no infrengments or traffic violations or points or DUI's ect on their record...I'd be quite happy with that kind of a system.

Don't worry California is worst. We have Prius cruising at speed limit on fast lane and wont change lane or Prius driver think they have supercharger engine on the slow lane.

I've driven a bunch of the autobahn roads and many sections do have speed limits. In the unlimited areas you still can't maintain 170 mph areas safely when people are doing half that in the left lane. It does help that Germans follow the rules and get out of your way. I wish I could take my Camaro there.
