A8 recall on trans cooling lines bolt rub
Anyone had this done lately? Have put mine off due to worries of dealer issues. Only have till end of year for GM coverage on this. Just was looking for any forum updates or experiences. Thanks for any responses !!

I crawled under the car and cut the offending bolt myself

By the time I found it the bolt had rubbed cooler line. I let dealer do the whole thing with new cooler lines and the accompanying fluid flush last year.

I had mine done by the dealer and all is well. They cut the bolt and ordered the lines then replaced them once they came in. No issues.

Recall cooler lines
Thanks everyone for comments and info. I will have it done soon once I pick a dealer. Only 2 close by and concerns with both. May have to travel some to larger dealer with more experience with the recall.
