ARH headers are on the 1LE

Finally had time to get the ARH 1 7/8 headers with the intermediate pipe installed. Already had the RF CAI, PRAY ported IM/TB and then had the shop do the tune.

The shop was slammed so no time for a before dyno run, ended up with 421rwhp with those mods. I was a little bummed about the "number" but the owner said his dyno tends to be a little stingy compared to other dyno in our area. It was also almost 100° outside with humidity in the 75% range, neither of those are good for making numbers.

I will say this though, the car sounds like a beast now. He said several people heard it while it was on the dyno and commented on how nice it sounded. I left the stock NPP muffler in place, running it with the valves locked open for now.

I have only been able to get on it hard twice now, power is definitely there and has picked up a decent amount. Nothing like giggling like a school kid when you open it up.

Hopefully this holds me over for now, next plan is FI next year with either a roots style or a Procharger.

To be honest I dont know, I am slammed at work and didnt want to sit around and wait for another 2 months to go by when my schedule would free up to be able to tackle them. I had a shop install them for me.

Most of the people that did their own here have said expect around 5-8 hours to install them on a 6th Gen Camaro.

Nope, Dynojet dyno.

I have used it many times in the past, several cars that dyno'd on it have went down to Texas for the TX Speed contest and dyno'd down there and got higher readings.

Way too many variables, I really wanted to do a before and after but I just didnt have the time to be able to do so.

I talked to you on facebook today about your car and tune... anyway, I always wondered how it would sound with stock NPP, I ended up going with the S type axle back and I absolutely love the sound. Its amazing.

I have to say it sounds pretty gang good for running thru the stock NPP muffler. When you step on it and open it up there is a very authoritative sound that comes out. If will get everyone's attention when you go WOT on it.
