What is the Fastest Production 6 Cyl Camaro?

Is the current 5th Gen bone stock the fastest 6 cylinder? Or is there one I missed.

By fast I mean 0-60 and 1/4 mile if you can find top end that would count also.

Also what is the slowest production Camaro.

Please this is not a troll I own a six and was just wondering where we are in the evolution of six's.

Don't leave out the Iron Duke! The only 4 banger Camaro was in 83 or 84? SLOW!
I'd say the 2.8 had to be the slowest 6. It had around 120hp? I had an 86 with an auto. It was my favorite Camaro by far, but it took along time to get anywhere...

The fastest had to be the turbo v6 in the firebird. It would kill most v8's at the time. Not quite a Camaro, but close.

5th gen would be the fastest stock 6-banger Camaro built (quarter mile times quicker than small block V8 SS first gens let alone the straight sixers).

Yes, I was thinking that the 5th gen six has the most HP / TQ. Though our 5th Gen is very close to being the heaviest. So far stock the 2010 / 2011 fastest stock 6. Though I am thinking with the new six design chevy may be going turbo single or twin. As the exhaust / electronics are pointing in that direction.

5th Gen V6 Camaro has to be the fastest...but these guys are heavy.

Can you imagine if they weighed in about the same as the 4th gens?

With a nice launch the V6 would be dipping into the mid to upper 13s fairly consistently and the SS in the mid to lower 12s.
