Glow in the Dark Rims?
Strange... never seen anything like it before.
Saw this video today: What do you guys think? I personally don't like them too much... |

Same reason you cant have more than 5" bra on top of your windshield, the driver and pass side windows cant be more than 5% tint here in LA? And the no. 1 reason? They can make money on it by stopping ppl from having them at nightt. Now if they made ACTUAL GLOW IN THE DARK rims, that might be legal.

They made a set of wheels similar to that on one of the episodes of West Coast Customs.
The wheel center itself was solid plastic of some sort, and the lights were mounted on a steel rim behind the actual wheel. It was for a car that was supposed to look like one of the cars in Tron, including a chrome paint job. the wheels certainly were novel, but they did point out that they were for show only because the plastic inserts weren't all that strong for everyday driving. |
