The mustang's styling is looking dated at this point while the ZL1 has a fresh new and unique appearance especially with the black rims.. |

Well the C7 Vette's have been unveiled and they don't suck. Time to get the garage expanded to 4 bays. I can't see letting my ZL1 go.

After the wife surprised me by pre-ordeirng a 12' ZL1, 8 months later we traded her 10' SS/RS for a 13' ZL1 Vert....so now we have 2....yeah I'd say its worth it...at least for us....

It stole our ZL1 hood and tailights though. Or did the ZL1 steal the hood from the C7 early?

Too bad you were not hanging out here with me in the mid to late 1970's. I was at Riverside Raceway and witnessed a 1969 Camaro properly set up for road racing absolutely destroy the Porsche cars amongst others manufacturers in an SCCA "A" production race. I had the same thought also until I saw it for myself.

We care about these types of cars so we pay attention to our favorites as well as what the bad guys are doing. For your average person though, I'm sure they're just as likely to mistake a zl1 for a base as a Gt500. I'm yt to ride in one, let alone drive one. Personally, I've never been that big of a handling guy but still think it'd be neat to see what all the giggly feelings are about.

you may as well test out a new vette now.......interior and visibilty much better.......a naturally aspirated engine and you wont have heat issues.....or the 50% chance of of blower rattle.....even mileage is better............vette will be the new bench mark, especially when they release the performance version........it will be my next if i can swing it by the boss.......
