Camaro V6 Owners Which CAI do u have?

Cold air inductions?
K&N?
Phastek?

how's the sound? Did you noticed a more aggressive sound with the CAI then you did with a stock exhaust?

If you could switch CAI brands.. would you?

Thanks

Cold Air Inductions with apex air scoop. Sounded much more aggressive than stock. Even better with an MRT V2 exhaust. Unless something came out that was better looking and/or dyno proven to give better rwhp than the current setup I have now, NO i would not switch.

Cold air inductions!!

The sound is incredible, sounds beast when you floor the car! Sounds Wayyy different than stock. And yes I felt the power as well immediately. Go cold air inductions route you won't regret it.

Hey pony scorpion Curious did you do the washer bottle relocate or just remove it.
And as far as the thread goes man you can look at atleast 1000 threads on this subject your gonna hear CAI or Rotofab mostly for being the two best sounding. It's to each his own for real bro. Sometime I get curious to switch. My fab to the CAI jus to see but I jus never tried it. So jus get one of these two and keep it moving you can't go wrong.

I did the washer bottle relocate. The apex washer bottle, not the Rotofab. I would have gone the Rotofab direction but Apex had a great deal on the scoop and washer bottle relocation kit. It was a pain in the a$$ to do it but i was able to manage. I thought I was going to dislocate my shoulder getting the horn bolt off the frame that it is supposed to attach to. The other thing is getting the Dremel at the right angle to cut a notch in the plastic part behind the lower grill. I took off my wheel to do it. I was about to give up but persistence paid off.

Rotofab, I like the look of the Rotofab than the CAI. I felt increase of power, but sound I am not sure cuz when I installed the rotofab, I already had a MRT V1(which is very LOUD). So I really cant tell. Just go with the look u want under the hood, they provide very similar perfomance gains actually!

I have the Cold Air Inductions intake. I thought the Rotofab looked cheap compared to the CAI brand, and since it costs less then you can see where they cut cost.
I have no complaints, easy installation, no issues and even with my MRT V2 exhaust you could hear the increase in intake sound.

CAI Inc. CAI

My car was actually louder with a new CAI than when I put on the factory upgraded GMPP N10 exhaust w/ the stock airbox.

Looks nice plus it helps that you can do your own work.
Kool thanks bro I was just curious because a lot of people ask how many times do you really use the bottle anyway. Good job !!! Gotta say tho I haven't any car for real V6 anyway to sound as good as the BEE with MY EXHAUST hands down.

i have the Injen long tube intake. there was a thread showing increased HP and TQ for all the popular CAIs and Injen was up there with Cold Air Inductions. but mine costed about 200$ from Apex vs 400$ for CAI Inc brand. I live where it rains and snows and i havent had one problem with water. I have the MRTv2 so i cant comment on sound of just the intake, but it feels great driving with it! i wouldnt switch no way. The install was easy, and people ive talked to actually love the look of the injen too!
