The worst thing about a Camaro....

The Camaro is a near perfect car to me but the blind spots are terrible. I know this can be fixed with blind spot monitors but you would think the engineers would have made it more visible for drivers to see out of our cars. It's very dangerous to say the least. Changing lanes is a hassle.

Having to look over your right shoulder for left hand turns out of parking lots gets very dicey. Other than that no significant issues.

I haven't had any issues... Blind spot monitors and the camera rearview mirror are a great combination as is properly setting up your mirrors

My biggest complaint is the electronic parking brake. Wish it was a manual one.

Ya Ive adapted to the outward visibility, I had a 15 Mustang before this and another had vis vehicle before that, I got used to it and know how to drive it accordingly. Mirror set up helps but best thing Ive set is the seat height, having it adjusted up off the floor boad makes a huge difference.

99% of people don't adjust their SIDE mirrors correctly. If you are behind a car and can see the driver's face in the SIDE mirrors, they are not set correctly. Another good indication of this is when they are merging and whip-lashing their neck a bunch of times to see in back of them. If you are in your car and using the SIDE mirrors and you can see the side of your car, they are not set correctly.

Plenty of visibility once you put the top down.

While I agree and I know that people say that this is the correct way of adjusting your mirrors, I'll never have them set that way. I learned to drive with having just a bit of the side of my car in my sideview mirror for reference and orientation.

However, when it comes to Camaro's, whether 5th or 6th gen, I think that more of it has to do with seating position and height. I see a lot of dudes who are vertically challenged sit in wildly inappropriate positions, then complain about not being able to see out of the car. The belt line of the 5th and 6th gen is rather high, especially compared to most cars. I think the seating position for most folks, especially if you're under 6', needs to be raised to a position that might not be intuitively comfortable. I say that they should make this adjustment while I fully acknowledge that I won't adjust my sideview mirrors but, I also never had any trouble whatsoever with seeing out of any of my Camaro's, be that blind spots or just simply navigating around in it.

This! The rear view camera mirror and properly set mirrors eliminate any blind spots.
