As much as I hate reading about that, it is something completely out of GM's control.
This chip shortage is affecting multiple manufactures, not just GM

I hadn't heard the plant shut down, but as RollaMo said, I have read about the semiconductor issues and how it's effecting multiple companies. Glad I don't have a car on order right now.

Is the conductor issue due to Corona? If so HOW?

Is it because of a Covid outbreak at the plants that produce the semi conductor?

How about bringing the supply chain back to the U.S.???
All these people walking across the border will need jobs.

This is what happens when you depend on other countries to supply your parts. WTF do you think will happen when these chips are needed for our military tanks and fighter planes if a war or conflict breaks out? US now just make a little more than 10% of the worlds chips now. In the 1980s the US alone made almost 1/2 of the worlds chips!

I remember when we made stuff in the USA. There were no problems relying on products from our enemies. MAGA!!
