Magnaflow resonated X pipe vs Tru x Pipe vs Stock H pipe on L99
I have jba shorty headers with solo hi flow cat....Manalfpw axleback muffler delete exhaust. I still have my stock l99 resonator in place. Im very pleased with the sound...the car really barks with zero drone. My question is...will a resonated x pipe with my mods quiet the car down ? I want to stay legal where i live so i need a resonator of some kind on the car to act as a muffling device.
Im also wondering if the true x pipe would be to loud or just right. I like the car loud...what benefits would it have with my setup. Ive searched but didnt see any info with my set up. Thanks |

I had the magnaflow X-pipe and I live in a somewhat restrictive area with no problems
But I got a lot of compliments and it wasn't resonated

I have the JEGs X pipe. I think I paid $120 during a Christmas special.

Yes that will quiet the car down and it will be deeper more than likely. I added one to my cammed Camaro with NPP to quiet it down and it sounded amazing and even deeper but too deep and resulted in awful drone. I don't think you will have that problem though.
