+1 Everything you said here works well. I can’t see the quarter panel at all looking at driver side mirror and a very small amount from the passenger mirror.

I believe it’s a trust factor having the mirrors set as you mentioned. I don’t have a need to look over my shoulders. If the vehicle in the adjacent lane isn’t in my mirrors they are either beside the door or far enough back that a lane change can be accomplished safely.

Every vehicle has a blind spot. Just like life , adapt to the situation.

The worst thing about Camaro

is the people that are unable to grasp the concept that acceleration eliminates blind spots (usually, haha)

If the car was my daily driver, more than likely the above wouldn’t be issues. I guess it’s all what you’re used to.
I agree with you. That's what I meant in my prior post about it being a wide car, or at least feeling that way.

there needs to be an age demographic on the ones complaining about not being able to see.

If you know how to drive visibility's not a problem.

Where Chevy went wrong was introducing budget friendly builds to the younger generation who loves to find something wrong with everything.

Yup, I scratched up the passenger side wheels the 1st week after taking a right turn too closely.....

Otherwise, no visibility issues with mirrors set.

THIS is the only concern. If you have to make a left on a road that is not perpendicular to the road you are turning from and what you need to be looking at is roughly in the same direction as the passenger rear quarter window....that's pretty much a guessing game. Good luck. I'm sure there are places some people drive where that might be a problem, but for me its only happened a few times in this car, and if you anticipate it you can angle the car better on the approach to help a lot.

But the complaints about simple passing maneuvers are way overblown. You MUST adjust your mirrors correctly. That's it. If you can see those sexy rear shoulders in your side mirrors you are doing it wrong. Adjust the mirrors much farther out so that they connect to the view you get out of the rear view mirror.

Josh has a crazy monster build, mine is almost tame compared to his. The idea is to make sure the car scares me a bit so I don't forget to respect the power. By the way, you're at 12.03, you only need to drop 25-30 pounds and hello, 11s

As to the OP, it's user error, there are no blind spots with proper mirror adjustment, except the passenger side C pillar blocking the view when making a left turn at an obtuse angle (which is like 0.1% of traffic situations where I live). Now, is it like a fish tank, of course not, but that's part of the appeal, I don't like teardrop shaped body designs like Porsche or even the Mustang, aero be damned

That said, all the relevant answers were already given above, setting the seat height properly is important as well.

There's a factory option that completely removes all of the blindspots

After having 3 5th Gens, I'm quite content with the 6th Gen .
Even if its a base model.
One complaint- Passenger needs a booster seat to see out the windshield.
