Wow. I know it doesn't help but at least if it blows apart you have a warranty and can say I told you so.

Look up the rear end axle noise that a bunch of us have. My dealer did nothing so I'm going to keep driving it and see if GM comes out with a recall. Too many people have this problem. Started when my car had 1,500 miles and now at 4,000 miles it is still the same.
