Learn.

Not everyone gets advice before they go. Some people have to learn on the fly.

...if you want to compare performance numbers, well, the GT500 retains it's title of the highest hp, worst performing car in the world.

Hmm. Very bizzare first couple weeks of 1/4 results.

A Mustang friendly performance shop like LMR rents a track and runs a much quicker overall time but only traps 117. A guy who can't launch very well runs a slow-ish time and an amazing trap....must be some significant variance in the performance from car to car.

The next couple will give us a much better idea IMO.

+500 DA compared to -1400. 2.2 60 ft compared to 1.9.

We have stock SS on the fast list from 113 to 119 mph.

Even in similar DA some tracks are faster than others as well

I'll reserve judgement for the next month or so.

I remember the conversations because I had a 13 GT at the time. So this was around 2012 ish. I'm sure if you use your free time you can find some of them. Believe me it was there.

Although the trolling between both sides wasn't anywhere near where it is these days.
I work in the medical field. And I don't think there was ever a time that Camaro5 forum members justified lesser performance by talking about better sales. Funny you dug up those links but don't have time to find others to prove me wrong? LOL...light-hearted ribbing there, don't take it seriously.

Yeah, I remember some bragging about sales but never to justify poor performance like the Mustang guys do.

Right. ....and of the 30 passes listed on the stock SS A8 fast list, this GT run wouldn't even make the list.

More data is needed to see what the GT A10 will do on average. No doubt that it's in the neighborhood though.

fair enough but it was a 2.3 60'. with even a 2.0 its in the top teens of the 6g fast list at worst.

people who go to the track on street tires should be required to be punched in the junk by everyone who came with DR or slicks. Give the retards a special night.

Nothing bizzare there. Look at the Fast 1/4 list in this forum and you will find trap speed ranges from 107-119 mph. The fact that the first few passes recorded for the GT are 116-119 mph is very good.

I feel like people will still buy with Camaros, I still see more SS's than 6 cylinders and Turbos combined in my town. :T

I still find it funny that It took mustang 2 whole years of eating grass and crowds to beat the Camaro for only a temporary year before we go on a Refresh. The GT350R beats the Z28, which loses to the SS 1LE, which loses to the ZL1, which loses to the ZL1 1LE. 2018 Mustang Fans are celebrating and then what happens? Mustang fans are sad that their favorite fast car is more expensive than a camaro in which said they'd bring down the price and Mustang pretty much brought it up.
