Central Florida Key Recall - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know of a dealership in Central Florida that can get this useless key recall taken care of faster than 2-3 weeks? I have read and heard that there are some dealers that can get the new keys cut on location. I am in the process of getting the lease transferred and they will not just let me sign the waiver for the recall.

Have you tried David Maus Chevrolet in Sanford? They wanted to do mine when I took it in for an oil change in November I turned them down.

David Maus is the dealer that has told me it will take 2-3 weeks.

You could try Regal Chevrolet in Lakeland...? Their service department has always been pretty good to me anyway. Ask for Derek, he is usually helpful. I chose to not have mine done but maybe they can help you. Good luck.

it doesn't have to be a Chevrolet dealership. Try the Buick GMC dealers.
