Yes, the seat goes up and down... it's a pull up/push down lever.

Rim rings are plastic, not sure if the paint will take to them

Well I have a 1SS/RS IOM ans I am shocked to see the low number of 1SS cars sold. I bought mine for the MUSLE CAR part the 426 hp, only 3 ortions RS package, boston acoustics upgrade and black stripes, I wanted the HP and I love it,only have 150 miles on her she is a dream to drive.

Speed, if not paintable, how about taking them off? I have a black LS coming in soon and want the total 'black-out' look also.
This car looks great in all the colors, but in black it just looks evil! LOL!!

426 HP for under 40K...

and we wonder why the 2SS sales are so dominant. the 2SS is CHEAP!

it has 20" rims and brembo brakes.... those upgrades alone would cost over $5000 to put on a mustang

you would think I had a $100,000 car by the way everyone gauks at it.

and it drives like one too...... GM knocked it out of the park with this one

I think EVERYONE expected the V6 to outsell the V8s.... the pundints, GM, most average people who didn't think GM was capable of delivering the power AND efficiency that the SS has.... except for those of us who followed the production and creation of this car every day since 2006.

The more I saw how this car was coming together, and then when they released pricing and fuel economy numbers back in March, I was thinking the SS was going to sell like hotcakes.

If the V6 was only a LITTLE faster and had the sport tuned suspension and Brembo brakes, I'd be going with that.
