Car seat (infant) recommendations
So.... My wife and I are expecting an extra present later this year around Christmas, and I am looking for any recommendations on infant car seat to put in the back of the car. Before you ask, my wife is short, so being able to move the passenger seat all the way forward isn't a problem, so and reading some old comments on here, it certainly seems like this is possible, I'm just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on seats they've had experience with in the past.
We have a vert, but I don't think that should impact our ability to fit one in at all.

I have a 5 and 2 year old. Both have been in the car as infants. Rear-facing, I used the Chicco Key-Fit 30 and once they got old enough to be forward-facing, they were in Recaro car seats. Congrats!

Subscribed! I have a 3 week old and I'm wondering how I'm going to fit him in my car. My wife isn't super tall (5'8"), but I am so he would have to ride behind her.

Baby isn't due til Christmas Eve, so we have time, but I was starting to worry there wasn't anything lately that would fit.

x2, I have the Chico base for my little guy who is due in 2 weeks already in the car. And once he's old enough I'm getting a recaro to match the interior

You will jump for joy once they are in a booster seat. So much easier. My 7 and 5 yr old love the vert not sure my son will fit in the backseat much longer though.

I havent tried his car seat in the car yet, as we typically drive the pickup. but I have been thinking a recaro to match the big kid seats would be nice! |

My 7 yr old is tall. He fits but legroom wise it won't be long Ryan B.

Congrats! Ours was the 5th. Do you have a link for the matching Recaro seat?

Hands down recommend the Chicco. The base has many adjustments that make it fit so much easier in the Camaro (I have 3 car seats, lol). For passenger leg room and being able to get baby in and out...hands down!
https://www.target.com/p/chicco-next...B&gclsrc=aw.ds I have seen it cheaper, but again to me its the best for the Camaro.

Heard the Recaros were unsafe and had a recall.
