You know you're a proud Camaro owner when...

It hits 34° so you wash your Camaro...

Back-story, I bought my Camaro with the intentions of daily driving it... then THIS Winter hit... I was working a layover job and when I got back in town, the roads were nothing but ice, and the PZeros just can't hang with the slippery stuff (which I was aware of)... I looked into winter tire options, but working on call, I just don't have time to tough it out with the Camaro when the roads get bad... I found an old '98 Z71 and the Camaro was garaged, but not before getting a fresh coat of salt on her... December proved to be a busy month at the railroad, I worked the equivalent of six forty hour weeks, so I never had a chance to wash the road grime and salt off... fast forward to today... it's been above freezing for the past few days, so my garden hose finally thawed and I got the chance to wash her up...

Obviously you work but off for what you have and I admire you for that! For me it's good therapy to wash up my Camaro. Heck, Ive washed mine about 4 times and it's never been out of my shop this winter.

If it's under 60* I'm not dipping my hand in a bucket of cold water to wash a car. Don't care how dirty it is.

I would buy a new Chevelle in a Heartbeat if they made it again to look like the 70

Ok, I lied

Before I had a chance to wax it I washed it once around 55*.

Now that it's waxed I take it to the car wash and spray it down. Dirt comes right off. Then it's plenty good looking enough until weather is decent to wash. I work in a cold shop all day, 6 days a week lately. The last thing on my schedule is to continue being cold, lol.

For what it's worth, I'm from South Louisiana. We closed schools down because it was 17* for one day last week. The high was 34*. I thought I wasn't going to make it. It was horrible. I had to use room temp water to douse the ice off my trucks windshield and my hands were cold for most of the drive to work (10 miles).
