After you've worn them in some, so-called "walking shoes" have worked very well for me. No extended-width soles to get caught under a pedal, they let enough 'feel' through, they don't restrict foot motions to an extent that I've ever been able to notice, and there's no need to change them for anything else you might do during the day. Reeboks and New Balance so far.

I use wrestling shoes. Great feel on the pedals but change them for walking around the pits. Your feet will thank you.

I also use the Puma shoes but do not use gloves. I've never had issues with my handd slipping.

I had some old Pilotis that fit me very well. Same size as you. The adidas goodyear ones fit great at the track but not for walking around too much. In the cars they feel awesome.
