I believe if you read between the lines on the tire rack sight there were no changes to the tire. Just reclassified as 200 tread wear vs 140.
I may be wrong but I thought that is what happened.

Guys, who is doing the tire change for you?
Also, how are they dealing with stretching the tire like the stock ones over the rims, especially with the harder compound tires you are buying? |

All xx/14 mold date RS-3s have the updated compound and all sizes now have 200TW designation. |

Do they last the same amount of time/mileage as the stock Good Years? Tread depth on RS3's are 8.8/32 over the Good Year 8/32 but guessing the RS3's have a softer compound causing faster wear...Opinions?

We can stop gentlemen. Javi asked this "Quick" question back in July and even posted on August 12th how he'd gone for the Pilot Super Sports and already loved them.

They should, they're not as sticky as the G2s.

+1 They seem to warm up faster, which makes the driver think they grip better, but I am not so sure when you compare it to a warmed up G:2.

Someone needs to do a (warm) lap for lap comparison on all of the common types of tires we can use (on stock rims) and tell us the differences on a track where our cars shine. Of course road manners is nice too, but I did not buy my 1LE for "road manners".
