Late model wheels on First Gen

This is the first time I have seen this. I'm surprised at how they don't seem to work that well with the First Gen...as in being a bit too big/overkill

Nope. Just doesn't look right.
IMO anything bigger than 18 inch is too much for the first and second Gen Camaros.

Black out the rims and you got a '67 SS1LE. As a bonus, the drums would blend right in.

I agree. The style of the wheels would look good, but they need to be 17-18" max

Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. I saw a fourth gen. locally with the same wheels and it didn't look bad either.

It doesn't look right but I know that is only because we are not use to seeing them with these wheels on them. With the right stance i'm sure it could look better. I have seen 1st gens with 20's and 22's out back that looked good.
