I am really skeptical that a windshield can crack from temperature change alone. I have lived in New England and the upper Midwest and have never experienced or heard about temp induced windshield cracking.

Just Just a quick update. Got said cracked fixed last friday. 1 week later, another crack. This. Is. Fun. :frust y:

I've had it happen. I was in my DD, and it was during the winter, and I was parked waiting for coffee one morning. The defroster was on hot, and I heard a little "pop", like water dripping on the windshield, and I looked at the windshield and watched it splinter about 14-16" long.
