12 month free SiriusXM or 3 month?

I have seen on here in a few places (but nothing super recent) regarding getting 12 months of SiriusXM for free versus 3 months? I just purchased a 2021 zl1 and am curious if I should get 12 or 3 months?

Thank you!

NONE!

Have you ever tried canceling the service? Yeah, good luck and do not get pissed about the ~15 minutes on the phone to do it.

EDIT: A 2021 should have wireless connectivity, you are better off with one of those
entertainment providers.

According to Chevrolet's website, a SiriusXM 12-month All Access trial subscription is standard on the 2021 ZL1. I believe this should also be listed as a line item feature on the window sticker.

I had the same trial subscription on my C7. I never had to provide any credit card information, so it was painless and I did not have to cancel. I simply let it expire.

Hope that helps!

Haha I use to have it with my Subaru and it def took some haggling to eventually cancel it, lol.. I ended up extending it like another year for something around $3 a month or whatever after they kept trying to keep me around with better offers lol.

Do you have a link to this on the website? I could only find https://www.chevrolet.com/siriusxm-satellite-radio which seems generic and only 3 months. Thanks!

When I bought my SS in 2018, it was 12 months on new cars and 3 months on used/CPO.

Whatever you do don’t give them a credit card number. Second my wife has to renegotiate our plan every time it is about to expire. Bill comes and it’s full price then she starts by cancelling and that begins the negotiation.

Same with OnStar.

As pointed out you might find it better to get WiFi and use other alternatives. Frankly we have it for Spectrum and PGA Tour Radio. Otherwise streaming Spotify or Pandora works for us.

CPO/used Camaros come with 3 months. My Silverado when new in '17 came 3 months. My current and previous new Camaro SS's, came with 12 months and I just let it automatically expire. ZL1's also get 12 months. As long as they keep Howard Stern I won't ever do anything with XM Sirius.

What I discovered long time ago (from previous 5th Gen Camaro). If you want to, you can have them bill you via mail (paper bill) and pay it with a check. This way there's no auto renewal or cc on file. Makes it easier to cancel at renewal time, just don't anything.

I really like it and always check with them around renewal time for a better deal, I did cancel it once only to have them email me a great deal later that day. You can chat with an agent and change/cancel service too.

I had it expire once then they had a Black Friday deal $99 for 12 months and a Amazon Alexa but that was the best plan they had All Access that you play in car and on your PC or phone. Then after that I canceled again got a email same plan All Access for $50 a year with Amazon Alexa.
Next July after it runs out I’ll cancel for good since I’m retiring 6 months after that.
As for OnStar my insurance company gives me $180 a year discount if I have OnStar if I don’t have it then I pay StateFarm the $180 a year so I may as well pay OnStar and get something out of it. I just get the best deal for the $180. This past June I paid $149.00 (1 year)for safety and security plan I think it’s called. They stop the car if it’s stolen plus they just added navigation to it this time.
Plus I noticed if you use OnStar to call the cops instead of your cellphone they come faster. I did that a couple of times when I had to go to work in the middle of the night.
