Steering Wheel Locked
I'm trying to install my ZL1 grill this morning, and I have the wheels all the way to the right to get access to the wheel well, and I go to turn the wheel to get into the other side and the wheel is locked. I can't get to the key to turn a cm and the wheel is just locked solid. I can't get it to move at all to try and jiggle it loose with the key. Help?

I don't know. But there has been a time or two when mine was turned all the way and it was a booger to get it to unlock. I just had to give it a heave to get the key to turn. I know you've tried that already, maybe an extra set of hands to pull on the wheel while the key gets turned maybe.

Your V6 Camaro is telling you it doesn't want a ZL1 grille

Usually if the steering wheel locks and key wont turn, from my experience, turning the steering wheel as far as you can possible with your strength in the same direction you already turned the wheel while also turning key should start to crank the key and start car for you to unlock the steering wheel.

You need to relieve the tension on the lock mechanism by turning the wheel into the turn slightly further. While you are holding the steering wheel, then turn the key. Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

I accidently locked the keys in the car with the motor running. It's been three days and the wife is trapped inside and really pissed, what should I do.

LOL, reminds me of why dogs are better friends than wives. If you're not sure, lock both your dog and your wife in the trunk. Comes back and open it 3 hours later. Which one is happy to see you?
