I won't buy a 2016. I'll wait a few years until they work all the issues out.

Im quite happy with the Stingray, but having owned several Camaro's in the past im always a fan and looking forward to the new car. My other half likes the current car but also the new Mustang GT.

Not buying one but I am excited for the changes and those that will be buying one....
I have been following Camaros and Corvettes for many years but I have only bought a few.

I have had a Camaro from every Gen, the 69 and the 13 are the cars I think hit it right. Sorry not to bring it up just clarification I think the refresh killed it. I am not in favor of a smaller sized car being 6'6" tall it is hard to get comfortable GM seems to favor 6'2" people. I am a Camaro person my wife is a mustang girl. And I must confess we are on the GT350R order list. Sorry don't hate me. There roll out stole the show. I will keep the ZL1.

I will likely wait for a high HP version and then wait 1 model year.

Always loved camaro! Mom owned a yellow 69. Had my chance to get a 13 and ended up with a Genesis Gt coupe. Will try again in November when my lease is up. The finalists are:
15 challenger RT/ scat pack 15 Lexus RC/F sport coupe 16 camaro SS If I don't get a sports car,it will be the 15 Genesis V8 sedan. Last edited by Kdogg; 04-14-2015 at 08:44 PM. |

I'm getting tired of the wait and have been looking at the 2015 Challenger SRT8.I have had 3 5th Gens and I know the Challenger is slower but it may be time for a little change.

I mean, the GT350 is like a SS with ZL1 brakes, 1LE suspension and a LS7...dream car... Cant believe GM never offered this but I understand they never wanted to fix ($$) the LS7 heads problem and throw a bunch of LS7 on the road and replace engine left n right in Camaros..

If I get one, it won't be until next summer and I see a lot of WOW factor from people who own one. I won't buy a first year model right from the start. I bought the first Ford Escape in 2013 with there new model came out. It's been alright, but have had 4 recalls, rubber molding coming off, rattles on every bump, and the Sync isn't the easiest to use. I paid $38000 fully loaded, so it's not a stripper. I'm sure they are better now, but no more getting one as soon as they hit the lot. I will wait for the bugs to get out.

Its gotta be radically changed like the vette, homerun though seems far fetched at this point, and I am not liking the snub it down to "sporty" size direction this seems to be heading.. So it would take alot for me to move into a next gen at this point.
I do like the dont sacrifice size just make more horses attitude dodge has taken, wish we would adopt the same.
