How to fix this BullSh***??

So out of nowhere, my driver side HEADLAMP has
water mist/fog inside of it and my passenger tail light has the same issue...SMH!! Need help/Advice

its frustrating knowing that these are NOT aftermarket headlight/Taillight, all original GM parts, but still this happens

just a quick question, have you recently changed out bulbs or anything? Maybe the rubber cover wasn't put back on correctly behind the lens? I know that seems juvenile but just what popped into my head. Hope you get it sorted it. Its def annoying to have something like that happen.

Do you "pressure wash" the car by any chance?

I used to work for a ford dealership and that was a normal problem for many of them. We used to just drill a while to let the water out.

Can drill a small hole in the bottom corners. This happens to lots of vehicles.

I agree with the OP. You should NOT have to drill holes in a $30,000+ car!

NOPE! I have not changed any bulbs recently, I've checked all the covers (dust caps) and all are properly inserted the right way. Yes very annoying

wow really, I honestly can't drill a hole, its just blows my mind why would we even have to do this with this being GM oem parts........I wonder if the sealant around the headlamp gets old, then allows air/water/moisture inside, but then I think, my car ain't that old , being a 2015.....smh idk....frustrating shit

yea I see this can possibly solve the issue, but again why do we need to this?? If GM knew this would happen to there headlamp or tail light, then they should have a drilled hole already there lol

It’s condensation... have the car sit under the blaring sun, turn your high beams on and call it a day. Happened to my C6Z and my reaction.... meh, it’s water.

I have a 2015 as well and I don't think this is "normal". I haven't had any problems with mine yet and I wash my car a lot with regular hose pressure.

It's a defect in the headlamp allowing moisture in. GM covers headlamps during the bumper to bumper coverage. There is a special policy for some of the cadillacs doing it because there was a ton of them. Not so common on the camaro but it's like anything else covered by bumper to bumper, 3 years 36k miles. Just think not too long ago the warranty on new vehicles was 12 months.
