WTB: 2013 2SS RS 1LE Inferno Orange ONLY
Hello everybody. New to this forum. I'm looking for a very specific car, will consider stock or one with a few nice engine mods, like mild cam, headers and high flow cats, or mild supercharger. I want something I can enjoy on a regular basis, take on the Power Tour and do a few track and autocross days per year. Must be a 2SS/RS and MUST be inferno orange. Want to stay under $35K. I'm located in the St. Louis metro, but am willing to travel for the right car. Not in a hurry, I realize this is a long shot, but it's worth a try.

i have a 2011 2SS/RS IOM with the orange interior and a six speed. It has about ever mod you can do to it without opening the bottom end. It was tuned by Mike Norris Motorsports in Indianapolis and made 650 to the tires on his dyno. It has 31,000 miles on it. I think I have most of the receipts buried around here somewhere. It also has an aftermarket sound system in it. If your interested, let me know. I'm about a two hour drive from St Louis in Springfield, ill. I think we could work something out.

Was inferno orange still an option when the 1LE was made available? That's going to be a really rare find, but good luck man!

I realize I'm looking for a rare car, but after years of toiling over several f-body projects and spending more time building than driving them, I want just the right one to keep and enjoy for a while. I'll also consider a completely stock car, just thought it would be a nice bonus to have some basic powertrain mods already done.

Well - as an option to consider - here's a nice 2015 Red Rock Metallic 2SS/RS 1LE. Recaro's & black interior - bone stock - 3332 miles. In storage in Appleton, WI.

Recaros were not an option for 2013, the only year IOM 1LEs were produced. Very rare car, only 127 IOM 1LEs were made, only 95 being 2SS trim level.

Didn't realize they were that rare. I'm in no rush. Found one in Canada, but don't want to hassle with customs and metric gauges.

You should look for a 2001 Speedway White Z06 while you're at it, with the mod red interior of course.. would be a nice little stable.

That would be a nice addition, but I like millennium yellow more. Almost pulled the trigger on a 2003 MY Z06 a few months ago, but my better half thinks a 2-seater would be useless with 2 kids. Hate to admit that she's probably right. Next best thing is a 1LE or ZL1.
