Buying a 9" need help with gear selection

I'm about to purchase a 9" from FSP and need a little help with the gear selection. What I have is currently in my signature and I plan on adding cubes and a ysi in the future. Any help would be appreciated. This is currently a 6 speed manual.

Have you asked Matt? If anything I would say nothing more than 3.73. It's a good neutral point that will help propel you but not leave you spinning your wheels.

Did you ran it at the track with your current setup?
If you can reach 135 mph,you would be crossing the line at about 6300rpm with 3.89 gears.

Matt suggested 3.55 or 3.31. I'm leaning towards the 3.55, because my 3.91 get torched by the power.

I went to 3.89 with my recent redo and our setups are similar. I did have 3.50's. The lower gears are much nicer driving around with my rowdy NA cam. Not sure what to expect when I finally get it down the 1/4. It may be too much gear to make a serious drag strip warrior.
