I wished I lived in Georgia climate, my Camaro's would be out on the road everyday! Honestly speaking, I would not hesitate to drive that beast through winter in any state south of Virginia.

Not much snow here, but rain, road grime, and those awful days in the winter where the DOT prepares for *possible* snow with sand, and sometimes salt and other de-icing chemicals. It's not often, but they do, and then the neighbors wonder why I'm washing the car in the rain, in 42 degree temperatures. I know the car won't last forever, but I don't want to see obvious corrosion while I own the car (aiming for 200k on this one...)

Oh, I wish I could have one of these to only be driven on nice days. But there's a tradeoff...this one gets driven EVERY day and life's too short to be really anal about saving a car so it's nice for someone else. Enjoy it while you can.

Is your decision to drive your Camaro during the winter because you just plain want to drive it? Or is it your only car and you have no choice but to drive it in the winter?

I bought my Camaro to drive when the weather isn't good for riding my bike.
Probably should have bought another truck but I wanted something fun to drive for a change.
The V6 non RS A6 is perfect for my needs.
A radio and heater/AC are all I really need.

This will be my full first winter with mine, and honestly yes I am scared. Here in NY it gets bad and I don't know what I am gonna do since it is my DD. Thought about getting blizzaks, but then I would need rims too. That's gonna cost $1k easy, or may be a beater.

Man these cars like having a second wife, you keep on spending.

My response. I have 3 cars, the camaro sits in the garage because I can afford do to such. So drive your car all winter, enjoy the salt chips (where applicable), premature rust, and STFU

Have a great day
Take your panties out of a bunch woman, this was a simple question.

For you hath the money of a thousand plumbers and can afford an entire fleet of cars to use at your disposal .... we get it. Your junk shrinks in the cold....

Back to OP.... thank God I live in southern Texas, where it never snows and cold winters are rare down here. My Camaro will be enjoyed all year round!

Yup it's a good decision not to live up there in Frozenland. Sunny and 86 here in Houston. But damn it's cold out there tonight, 55 degrees! lol No matter how rich you may be, a car "hibernating" in the garage is a depreciating car. A car driven the hell out of is a depreciating car. A car 4 years old is still depreciated. Oh well, the only winter prepping I have to do is let it warm up a little before going to work...

If you could read, you would see what it says except for the extreme weather guys. I was waiting for the Richards to hit
