Got first place tonight at Sonoma Raceway
As the title states, got first place tonight racing my 14 1LS. I have to say, these LFX engines really don't get heat soaked like the mustangs i raced tonight. This was my 2nd week in a row winning at the wednesday night drags in the Gear Jammer class. We usually get about 50-60 guys in my class, tonight there were only about 30-40. Hope you like the solid first place trophy for us V6ers. (and yes, the "Gear Jammer" class is a manual shift only class for the left foot, inclined)

Very nice!
The LFX motor is the most unrated motor around. Extremely solid and has great upper end torque.

Traded in my V6 for a V8. She looks pretty similar, but sounds a whole lot different! Performance Mods: 3.91 rear-dif gears, Solo J-pipe axle-back exhaust, New Era Performance OTR intake, Vitesse throttle controller Cosmetic / Ergonomic Mods: SRP racing pedals, APEX skip-shift eliminator, RPI stealth splash guards, Plasti-dipped wheels and bowtie inserts, Matte black hood spears, rear copo spears, "Le Mans" hash marks, gills, and smoked tail lights / side markers |

wow OP , congtats, for a stock engine! thats hauling some serious ass! good for you! i know we dont have ZL1's, but like you said, these V6 are made to go! congrats!.
