Thanks all. Unfortunate the previous owner replaced the tires with nitro nt550s so they arent as sticky as the F1s. The good part of that is I now get to do numerous burnouts until the tires are gone, then get the F1s again lol.
As for line lock and launch control, I'm tried finding these options in the different menus but have not been successful as of yet. Are you sure those options came on the 2018 models? As for purchase, I got it from the dealer for 39,250 with the 16k+ miles on it. |

39,250? Did you mean 29,250? 39 seems high with that amount of miles. A 2018 1le near me is selling for 30k with 24k miles.

put the car in track mode, double tap the tcs button and it’ll bring up a menu on the info screen by the gauges. go down to race. at a stop, put it in first and mat the accelerator with the clutch on the floor. it should rev up to about 3k and sit there. launch control. to my knowledge the ss 1LE did not come with line lock, only the zl1 1LE

$32k-37k is about the standard for a 1SS 1LE with under 10k miles. 2SS 1LE models are being sold between 39k-41k. Apologies for my lack of clarity but the 39,250 I paid was out the door before the value of my trade in for the 2SS 1LE. 16k miles is still basically a new car but yes I would have rather paid less (obviously).

Congratulations cujo on your SS 1LE purchase and if you are happy with what you paid for it despite folks telling you you paid too much then that’s all that matters! Enjoy your Camaro!

Awesome. I recommend spending the money and getting ppf if you wanna run sticky tires.
Car looks great . You’re gonna love it. |
