New 2023 2LT 3.6 6MT Vivid Orange Metallic owner

Hi everyone. Just landed my new Camaro 2LT. Hard to find a new V6 manual but finally did a few states away. Waiting for the transport company to pick it up and deliver it to my driveway....Can't wait. Sold my daily driver Honda Civic Sport Touring CVT yesterday so all ready. Should be a much more engaging driving experience for sure!

Looking forward to reading, sharing and learning from this community...

Congratulations, nice car, much better than the civic.Mine is like yours, got mine 1-2-21. I can tell you a few things about my time with the car. I change engine oil 5-6k ,changed tranny and diff. at 37k. Original run flats lasted about 27 k miles. Non run flats made it drive much better. I wanted to firm up the suspension some so I got Bilstein b6 shocks. Now I keep front camber around 1.1 neg.At 18 k miles I realized It runs better on 93 , have been using premium only since. I drive mostly rural and last tank average was 28.7 mpg. At about 50k miles the resonator began rattling. Weeks later I replaced resonator with a x pipe. A short while later I replaced muffler with mbrp axel back. I love the sound, think manual transmission makes it better.

Thanks for the intel. I'm hoping to not have to change out the exhaust as I here it sounds great. I do have the dual-mode option but don't know much about it and have never heard it in person. My first mod will be ceramic window tint. Living in NC this will help keep the heat under control. Maybe down the road I will look to get a rear sway bar and possibly some wider wheels and tires but not for a while. I'll start with Top Tier 87 gas and see how things go. Gas is so damn expensive. Also, I'm really hoping the Tremec 6MT is good....I've heard it is and has great positive engagement. We'll see.

I had the regular exhaust and thought I would not change it but with the rattle I had to do something.I happy with the way it sounds now. The short glass may take some getting use to ,I came to like it. I live in mid-south ga and run summer tires only. The 245-40-20 give me all the grip I need. I have thought about sway bars and would only get factory bars from V8 models. I have a lot of experience with after market bars on the rear of front drive cars.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
