Need some tips, opinions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello guyz. First of all, sorry for bad english.

I have 2ss ls3. Went to drag today first time in my life. It was on local fire dep airport. Had 5 starts and want ur opinion about them.

1. Mustang gt 2007 cai, tune, full catback, hurst shifter maybe smth else not sure. - i won 2 cars time 13.72 104mph.
2. Crysler 300c 2005 r/t not sure of mods, but smth about the same, as mustang had. - i won 3 cars time 13.64 105mph.
3. Charger r/t 2006 mods unknown, but i saw 323 rwhp dyno sheet.Interesting, he have max torque at 1700! rpms... I won only 1/2 of cars. - time 13.66 105mph.
4. Corvette ls1 - mods unknown. I lost 2 cars. - time 13.79 104mph.
5. 370z stock exept of 4.11 gears - won by 1.5-2 cars.- time 13.9 103mhp pretty bad start.

Fuel was 95octane same as 91 in US. TC and stabiltrack was on, so at the start i had a rpoblem, rpms were dropping from 3.5 to 1.5k - then fly...

How to u guyz think, is it important to use our 98octane - its like ur 93 premium, will it help me to get better times? How about TC and stabiltrack?

I know my v8 should be in a low 13s, im and average driver i think.
The weather was 50 °F.

O o now u have virus called dragrace-addict. All ure money will go in this machine which turns cash into sound.

But times not so bad, first time out (stock) mine went 13.5. Its hard to get this thing to move fast from the line. There are some tips on the forum here.
