rear drag set up 15" rims...
What in all is required (besides the obvious V6 brake kit) to fit and run a 15" rear drag lite? this will be on a 2015 ZL1 and i want to retain the factory magnetic ride suspension.
Also have to add id like to have the ability to use both 18" wheels for the street and !5s for the strip...if that matters without having to change the control arm ever again. Last edited by C Murda; 03-02-2016 at 10:37 AM. |

get a hold of Mark Carlyle racing he has a 15 inch brake conversion kit, comes with lower control arms and trailing arms and rotors and drag calipers. and you keep your MRC and PARK Brake. and you will need a new drag sway bar. |

what makes you think you would have to change the lower control arm from running 15 inch rims to 18 inch rims? once you are set up for 15 inch rims you can run any thing bigger

thanks for your reply! I was getting thrown off by reading about the Spohn LCA's as the description says they are a rear drag control arm but then it goes to mention that "not all 17" rims will fit"....? i wouldnt call a 17" set up a drag set up if thats what those LCAs are intended for... and then again doesnt factory LCAs work with 17s anyways? why make an arm that does the same as OEM? |

would you say his LCA's are strong enough to withstand some autoX abuse or is it strictly more of a drag only part? any idea if they are CM or mild steel?
