Lowering a ZL1

my girl just bought a brand new 2015 ZL1 and is looking to lower it due to her first m which will be down sizing to a more useable and affordable 18" rim with drag radials. of cours to not look goofy with these damn huge fender wells we will need to lower it and are wondering whats out there for good quality springs and will it affect the MRC suspension?

I did the BMR springs on mine too. I think it drives much better than stock. If I had it to do over, I would do the 1 inch on the rear, and the 1.25 on the front. I have the 1.25 front and rear now.

Yes..I would like a little more rake. I'm running 315's on the back, and it looks like the fender gap is smaller on the rear than the front.

Got it.

Was thinking of putting 315's in back with 295's up front as well.

I think I'm about to head your way in the mod department as well. lol

I went back and forth on the cam. I was going to just add boost. I didn't want to go to crazy on this car. I wanted to be able to take off to the beach, and not worry about it. But I'm so glad I went ahead and did it. It saved me some money down the road for sure... With the weight of this car, I think this power level is perfect for it now. It is so much more fun to drive. And sounds awesome.

When you lower a ZL1 you should compensate for the rods which actuate the magnetic ride control sensors.
