Yes, it happens all the time. If anyone calls the dealer about it, they should say it’s sold. As soon as your deal closes, the car should disappear from the inventory pages.

Yes, it's normal. I found out from the last dealer I bought from that GM places that order on the dealer's website as if it's for sale, and they don't have a say on it. I asked because the last time I was hunting for a Camaro I ran into the "In Transit" brick wall, so I asked the salesman why if it's sold already, usually ordered, is on your site?!
BTW, when you see these listings, look at the window sticker and the options, when they have a bunch of the custom options like steel foot pedals or red interior accents, you know it wasn't ordered for dealer stock, most of the time.

I’m assuming MY23 must end with this month? It seems most (if not all) TPW’s for the first week of august are for 2024’s.

I went to three dealerships two weeks ago to order a ZL1. Only one would actually submit my order and take a deposit. It happens to be the dealership that Ive bought my first three camaros from. Not exactly sure if they are BSing me but they said they are very confident they will have an allocation for me and I should be able to get my exact order. without issue unless some weird constraints pop up in during production. Theres only one person ahead of me. fingers crossed.

I live in NY so reason to hope it shows up before April if i actually get an allocation. Best of luck to all others waiting at 1100.
