And front bumper has a hole in it so definitely body damage, and the rim ain't going to be cheap either.

Hole? You mean the two white spots with a dark spot between them, under the headlight?

The white spots are sneakers. The black spot is a shadow. They are reflections.

Well with the money they saved not buying a GT3

It's how we think today.

I had an 'oopsie' last week that necessitated $1,000 dollars of repair on my Camaro (moral: don't pull over to help anyone, ever) . I chose to risk hitting a curb rather than risk a head on collision and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I smacked the curb but good, when I twitched the wheel over hard.

I was advised to go through insurance. The numbers didn't add up in the long run so I reached in my pocket. But the tire replacement, the alignment, the hub, the bearing, the labor...it added up very quickly, and there was no underbody damage or paint damage, luckily. If there had been, I would have gone through insurance. I was shocked the rim had nothing that a dab of touch-up paint didn't fix.

Not always. I've worked in million dollar homes that had wire spools covered with table cloths and junk cars in the driveway because they were trying to live outside there means.

Getting the rim will take special order as dealers do not carry parts in stock, we know from recent experiance. and a grand does not cover it.
