Newbe here - how do I upload photos?

Hello all,

Proud owner of a new SS, traded in my 2013 Mustang GT Premium. Question though - How to I upload photos? I tried to attach a file to a thread but it asked me for a URL instead of the file location. Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

join an outside free service, then you can put your pictures in any forum anywhere.

photobucket.com is a good one

I'd recommend Imgur over Photobucket.

www.imgur.com

Super easy to use and very fast service. It's widely used, it has its own community and is the most used image host for Reddit.

You can load them right from your photos you have in your computer.

On a side note, why can I only attach 1 photo per post on my iPhone? Even if I try to attach multiples, it only takes the last one I add.

He asked a good question. I, too, have not attached any photos yet. Some simple instructions for us newbees on how to attach from desktop and iPhone would help. I don't want to sign up for any service.

If you hit "Advanced" under the quick reply box at the bottom of a thread...you'll get a larger set of options up above the text box. Click on the one that looks like a paperclip.

A new window will open for uploading photos, make sure they meet the size requirements, and upload away!

Hope this helped.

I use Photobucket and it's easy. And FREE! or at least until you have a lot of pictures. I've got over 3500 images in Photobucket and I have 45% left, so the Free limit must be 7,000 pictures.
